BEN ZION SUKY'S PHILANTHROPIC VENTURES

BEN ZION SUKY'S PHILANTHROPIC VENTURES

Ben Zion Suky has supported numerous organizations and missions throughout his career. He has stood behind many Jewish ventures and synagogues in New York and Miami. Guided by a commitment to causes that are close to his heart and capable of making a meaningful difference, Suky has increasingly focused his contributions on addressing real, evolving needs within communities, both locally and in Israel.

United Hatzalah

United Hatzalah

Hatzalah is a volunteer medical service organization that provides rapid emergency medical response with volunteers who are trained EMTs and paramedics living and working within the communities they serve. The organization is known for its exceptionally fast response, often arriving at emergency scenes within minutes. Hatzalah now operates in numerous cities across the United States, Israel, and other countries, providing free emergency medical services while maintaining sensitivity to the religious and cultural needs of the communities they serve.

Suky's involvement with Hatzalah began through a chance encounter at a charity gala. He had the pleasure of witnessing firsthand the dedication of volunteers and hearing compelling stories about the organization's impact. This personal connection led to a significant financial commitment, with Ben Zion providing substantial donations to support Hatzalah’s mission. Beyond monetary contributions, he demonstrated his appreciation for the organization's volunteers by financing a comprehensive day of activities for all Hatzalah volunteers throughout Israel, recognizing their essential role in the organization's significance.

IAC (Israeli-American Council)

The Israeli-American Council (IAC) focuses on maintaining and reinforcing Israeli and Jewish heritage across generations, bolstering America's Jewish population, and fostering closer ties between American citizens and Israel.

Recognizing the importance of their mission, Suky became a supporter of this movement, highlighted by their most recent objective: combating the rising wave of antisemitism in the United States through education and advocacy, working to establish beneficial legislation while providing support and unity for Jewish youth facing prejudice in the current climate.

Suky's philanthropic portfolio also includes significant support for Belev Echad, a global nonprofit organization founded in 2010, dedicated to supporting wounded soldiers of the Israeli Defense Forces. The organization provides comprehensive assistance to help wounded IDF veterans live productive and well-adjusted lives through programs including legal and medical advocacy, educational scholarships, social and recreational events, mentorships, and career placement.

Beyond these larger organizational commitments, Suky’s philanthropic impact extends to the immediate communities where he lives and works, supporting religious and cultural institutions that serve as cornerstones of his neighborhood.
